Challenge
Whilst there are lots of water features designs in numerous materials and shapes, some provide a function as well as a design. The property was clad in copper which over time will age and blend into the landscape, which a water feature needed to offer the same values, but at the same time create a boarder to a patio area and segment from the boarder planting. The finished water feature needed the design to create a luxury appeal and a focal point within the garden.
Solution
A bespoke water rill, with bubbling fountains to the exact size of the patio, incorporating materials and finishes which compliment the building. Our Rill Amaya has been carefully designed to offer the quality, consideration and engineering that we deliver within our commercial water features, whilst at the same time offering a robust solution.
The Rill Amaya is made to any size; length, width or height as a beautiful rill with bubbling fountains running over an infinity edge. A bronze patina is offered in either Verdigris or aged bronze creating a high quality timeless appeal which ages graceful over time. The infinity edge ensures floating debris is removed and polishing the surface to give the best effect of the fountains.
Benefit
The Rill Amaya fulfils multiple important considerations and no more than what was required for this property. A bespoke size meant the rill ran down the side of the patio with the chosen height and width fitting perfectly in scale. The bronze material will age over time in harmony with the copper on the building. The bubbling fountains with the use of the dark water creates the radial patterns and reflections, a subtle effect but to the right level that gives movement and interest to the garden.
