Bespoke Water Features: A Commissioned Masterpiece for The Marquis Hotel & Restaurant

We are excited to share our latest bespoke water feature, a stunning commissioned piece designed for The Marquis Hotel & Restaurant in Suffolk, and featured in Premier Hospitality magazine. Collaborating with renowned interior designer Lindsey Rendall, we had the privilege of transforming our Specular Water Bowl into a unique and captivating design that elevates the hotel's luxurious ambiance.

A Scaled-Up Vision: From Concept to Creation

The original Specular Water Bowl was reimagined and scaled from 900mm to an impressive 2000mm in diameter, perfectly complementing the grandeur of the hotel's entrance. In addition to the larger scale, the brief called for the inclusion of a custom-designed central sculpture to replace the infinity flute, creating an entirely new focal point.

Water flows seamlessly from beneath a light shadow stencil, carefully designed to raise the water level just to the edge of the bowl without overflowing. The polished surface of the water beautifully reflects the central sculpture, creating an elegant, serene effect. The dynamic interplay of water, light, and sculpture ensures that the feature is visually striking both by day and by night.

An Illuminated Masterpiece

As night falls, subtle lighting beneath the stencil illuminates the entire water feature, enhancing the sculpture and creating a welcoming, luxurious glow. Situated at the entrance of The Marquis Hotel & Restaurant, this bespoke water feature not only serves as an eye-catching focal point but also strengthens the hotel's sophisticated, high-end feel, offering visitors an unforgettable first impression.
